Colfax Downtown Halloween Walk
The Downtown Colfax Halloween Walk is Tuesday, October 22 from 6PM-7:30PM!
Downtown Colfax's businesses, local organizations, and churches will be handing out candy to kids from decorated booths and storefronts at this family-friendly stroll in historic Downtown Colfax! Have your kids and family wear their best Halloween costumes and come join us for the fun!Suggested ages for candy are for kids ages 0-13 (but everyone is welcome to attend and we don't care who businesses give out candy to!). This is mostly an event for younger kids, so please keep that in mind!All kids must be accompanied by adults.E. Howard Street (from Locust St to Walnut St) and W. Howard Street (from the east Fareway driveway to Walnut St) will be closed to vehicle traffic. We also ask that people avoid parking on Walnut Street HWY117 in the Downtown during this event as a courtesy to help keep this event pedestrian safe. The Colfax Police Department does a great job helping families get across the highway. Please be mindful of vehicle traffic!Please consider parking on the side streets adjacent to Downtown Colfax and walking to the event (Division Street, Front Street, Elm Street, etc.).The local businesses, organizations, and churches participate in this event at great expense so that local families have fun time in their community, please remember to be courteous and be sure to tell them thank you for participating! Technically there a no lines for booths, but sometimes lines naturally form and may take awhile to get to the booths you want to get to, please be patient and understand those dynamics!Rain Date: If it's bad weather on Tuesday Oct 22, we will move this event to Thursday, Oct 24.
