The Newton Arboretum invites you to experience SCARY on the PRAIRIE 😱🎃😱!!!
Prairie Madness was a real condition experienced by early settlers.
The tall prairie grasses created feelings of isolation and claustrophobia which often led to fits of madness. Many got lost and died in the prairie . . . or did they? Dark tales of spirits, monsters, and ghouls preying on settlers began to emerge. Was there something else out there? Hidden in the grasses? Waiting in the dark?
Put your terror threshold to the test.
Can you survive the prairie after the sun sets?
