RSVP CONNECTION CALLS PROGRAM

Jasper County RSVP has a new program called Connection Calls. This program involves volunteers who make a social phone call once a week for 8 weeks to Seniors in Jasper County who would like to have some conversation and fellowship.

INTERESTED IN RECEIVING A CONNECTION CALL?

·Fill out a sign-up form and return it to the ISU Extension Office by mail or drop it off: 550 N 2nd Ave W, Newton, IA 50208. You may pick up forms at the office as well.

·We will match you with a volunteer and give you all the details. We would like to start the program in October of 2025 but will continue to offer it at 8 week intervals. If we have more interested in calls than we have volunteers, we will put you on the waiting list.

·If you are already an RSVP Volunteer, contact Sarah or Jasmine to get started. There will be a short training involved.
