We at the Sheriff's Office will be hosting a National Night Out event, Aug. 4th from 5:30pm - 8:30pm, in Baxter and we wanted to make sure that you were invited! No need to RSVP, but if you do have questions, please feel free to ask. We'll be shutting down the Main St business district and opening it up for kids of all ages to roam freely.
National Night Out is a national organization that started to help Law Enforcement agencies grow positive relations in the communities that they serve. This is a great way for the Sheriff's Office to connect with not only the Baxter Community, but for citizens of Jasper County. It is shaping up to be a pretty fun night with a bounce house and participation from several local vendors, musicians, Fire, EMS, EMA, and some of your very own JCSO deputies that you may have the opportunity to dunk in a dunk tank (with a little extra donation, there could be an administrator or two)!
