OWLS Program “Mural Art”
Jasper County Conservation will host an Older, Wiser, Livelier Seniors (OWLS) program on Wednesday, August 12 at the Dana King Ceretti Environmental Education Center in Kramer Park. The public is invited to come for 10:00 a.m. coffee and a program given by local artists Lauren Roush and Pauli Zmolek. Roush and Zmolek will talk about the mural-making process, share murals created throughout the community, and answer questions about public art, design and painting. After the presentation, participants can view the two nature center murals painted by Roush and Zmolek with the artists themselves.
The OWLS program is a conservation program that encourages seniors to stay active and learn new things about the natural world.
