Newton Police Department will join neighbors, Jasper County Sheriff's Office, Iowa State Patrol, Newton Fire Department, and community partners for National Night Out sponsored by Culver's on Tuesday, October 6, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Legacy Plaza Green Space. This annual event gives residents a chance to meet the officers and first responders who serve Newton in a relaxed, family-friendly setting and helps build stronger connections between law enforcement and the neighborhoods we protect.
This year's event will include a food truck, inflatables, games and other activities, a special appearance by the Iowa League of Heroes, and a visit from the Iowa National Guard. Officers will be on hand throughout the evening to talk with residents and answer questions.
We hope you'll bring your family and neighbors out to join us.
